Is Quarantine Getting to You? Try Our Self-Care Routine.

You’re not alone, quarantine is getting us all. At Lookin’ Good Salon, we know how important it is to take care of your mental health and happiness during times like these. Here’s a small self-care routine we’ve put together for you.

Do the simple things. A lot of us are struggling just getting the basics done so do these every day.

  • Take a shower every day or every other day
  • Do your skincare routine every day, without fail. You’ll go to bed feeling put together.
  • Drink at least 8 cups of water.
  • Make your bed when you get up.
  • Write down your feelings in a document, even one line is good.
  • Cook one meal at home.
  • Take a small walk, take your pets out.

Do those every day. Do the following on a weekly basis:

  • Put your clothes away, at least kick them to a corner.
  • Do a face mask, exfoliate.
  • Wash your hair and do a hair mask
  • Change your bedsheets.
  • Make plans with friends, even if it’s just a video call or getting coffee.
  • Exercise with HIIT (high-intensity interval training) or any exercise at all.
